A quick update about a creative adventure
Been a while!
Don’t think that I Liked It! has returned just yet. I’m not going to get into a lengthy review as to why I loved One Battle After Another or trying to intellectualize my enjoyment of an online hero shooter like Marvel Rivals. No. Today I’m here to share an exciting update. Some of you who follow me on other social medias may already know, but I directed two short films earlier this year! I got together with a group of friends and colleagues and we made these incredible works. Being on set was an incredible experience and everyone was so talented. I’m absolutely dying to return to that world, but, in the meantime, I’m going to share our work.
This first one is CHASE. It was so much fun to shoot this because it was a pretty unique set-up. A six and a half minute oner focused on the face of a woman being pursued by a mysterious stranger. We only had so much time to shoot it while the light was the way we wanted it to be and I’m so proud of how it turned out.
And this one is i didn’t do anything. The absolute opposite experience in that it was a large amount of shots, meticulously storyboarded, and involved a large crew to achieve the vision: a grimy criminal getting offered a new way to streamline his craft by a big tech representative.
I hope you enjoy the short films and, if you do, I encourage you to share them. Me and the rest of the Spite Club team worked very hard on this and would totally appreciate.
Best regards,
Nick
